Can I get electricity directly from the renewable energy project?

Not directly. As a large-scale renewable energy developer, our projects are designed to generate electricity at utility or commercial scale and feed it into the national grid rather than supplying individual users.

Can I continue farming on the land?

Yes. Farming can continue as normal, except in areas where construction is actively taking place during the construction phase.

Can I request the developer to not develop on certain portions of my farm?

Yes. We will work with you to avoid areas you wish to keep undeveloped or that are environmentally sensitive.

What benefits does the local community receive from a project?

Renewable energy projects support local development through job creation, skills training, and socio-economic initiatives funded by a portion of the project’s revenue.

Will the project impact the environment or wildlife?

Environmental impact assessments are conducted before development begins. We work closely with specialists to minimise impact and implement mitigation measures where needed.

What is the lifespan of wind and solar farms? What happens at the end of the lifespan?

The lifespan of a wind or solar farm is approximately 20 to 25 years. At the end of this period, all the infrastructure will be dismantled, removed and the land rehabilitated to its original condition.
